To access the Manage Products page, navigate to POS > Manage Products.
To create a product, click the “New Record” button in the upper right corner. You can also click the drop-down button to select the option to import or export products.
Create Product
When creating a product page, you need to fill out the details of your product. You will also have the option to set the price and include tax.
Allowed Locations
In this option, you can set the product to be available only in certain locations. Choosing the Global option will make it available in all locations.
Product Design
In product design, you can specify how the product will appear in the system by uploading photos and customizing the colors. You will also need to include the product title.
Product Rules
You can establish rules in the Product Rules section. One such rule allows for extra points during Product Redemption. By default, it is set to “Do not Issue Bonus Points.” There will be an option for a Promo ID, which is used to synchronize POS transactions and identify fraudulent activities from the POS. Additionally, the Promo ID can be applied to e-commerce discounts.
NOTE:
Promo ID - The Promo ID is used to sync POS transactions and flag fraudulent transactions from the POS. Also, the Promo ID can be used for e- commerce discounts.
Inventory
In the inventory section, you can enter the stock quantity of your product. You will also have the option to be notified when the stock quantity reaches the minimum level.
Vendors
In the Vendors section, you can enter supplier details. This feature automates ordering supplies when inventory runs low.
Variants & Related
You can add product variants in this section. This works well for options like small, medium, and large.
