Introduction
In this article, we will discuss Managing Broadcasts.
To view the Manage Broadcast page, go to the Broadcast tab > Manage Broadcast sub-tab.
Manage Broadcast Grid
On the left-hand side, there is a checkbox that allows you to perform various actions such as Edit Lock, Edit Unlock, Delete Lock, Unlock, Activate, Deactivate, and Delete. You can also choose to select all campaigns or clear the selection. Your permissions will determine the options and actions available to you.
On this page, you will notice an eye icon that can be either orange, red, or green. If it's green, the campaign is public. This typically happens when a business has multiple locations and an administrator overseeing all locations makes the campaigns public for all managers to view. If you choose to make the campaign business private, it will be orange. You can choose to make it private (red), the broadcast is only visible to selected locations.
Additionally, you have the option to make the campaign sticky, allowing it to be displayed at the top. This is particularly useful when duplicating a campaign for future use.
Action Column
To edit a campaign, you can click the title of the campaign or go to the action column and click the edit button. You also have the option to Copy or Delete the campaign.
You can preview the campaign by clicking the eyeglass icon and send it by clicking the arrow.
On the upper toolbar, you can view the date the campaign was created, the reply-to email, and the type of broadcast, such as Smart, Email, SMS, or PUSH message.
Add Offer and Automation Trigger
You can also check if an Offer is attached. If there's no offer attached, you have the option to click on the "X", and then choose to attach an existing offer. If there's no existing offer to attach, you can choose to create a new one.
NOTE:
- Offer Attached - If an offer is attached, there is a green check mark. If not, click the X to create and attach an offer. To edit the offer, click the green check mark.
The Automation Triggers column indicates whether a broadcast has automation attached. If your user role permissions allow, you can modify them by checking the checkbox.
NOTE:
- Automation Trigger Attached - If attached to a trigger, a green check mark displays. If not, click the X to attach the broadcast to a trigger. To edit the trigger, click the green check mark.
Edit and Delete Permission
To enable editing permissions for a specific campaign, click the lock icon to unlock the campaign. If editing permissions are not allowed, you won't be able to unlock the campaign. The same concept applies to delete permissions.
NOTE:
- Edit Permission - Locking the ‘Edit Permission' prevents any user class below you from editing the broadcast content. If unlocked, all user classes can edit the content.
- Delete Permission - Locking the ‘Delete Permission' prevents any user class below you from deleting the broadcast. If unlocked, all user classes can delete the broadcast.
You can filter the broadcast by clicking the filter icon at the top. This allows you to view all broadcasts and active broadcasts, including those attached to triggers, and those with offers.
On the upper right, you can create a new campaign by clicking the "New Record" button.
