- Tablet App - Updating The App





Introduction

In this article, we will discuss the Tablet Auto Update feature. You can update the tablet application remotely by navigating to Stats > Reporting > Tablet Reporting.

On the Tablet Reporting page, you can view the details of each tablet the app is installed on.

NOTE:  

  • Token Not Found – If this message displays, Firebase updated the Web API Key, making previous versions no longer functional. To receive the latest app updates, you must manually reinstall the tablet app. 

 


Updating the Tablet

When you're ready to update, simply click "Send Update" to verify that you want to send the update. Press the "Okay" button, and the update will be sent to the tablet. Below are the step-by-step instructions on how to update the tablet:  

  1. When you push the update, a pop-up will display on the tablet, asking the user to update. 
  2. Simply press the update button. 
  3. The tablet will then download the application, and a screen will show the update progress. 
  4. Once the download is complete, it will ask you to install it. 
  5. After you press the install button and it's complete, you can press the "Open App" button.
