NOTE:

Check-Ins Points

  • Issue Check-Ins Points - The setting follows standard program rules. If each Check-Ins = 1 point, then I point will be issued per Check-Ins. If in doubt, use this setting as it’s the most common.
  • Do Not Issue Check-Ins Points - If on, no points are issued per Check- Ins. The setting is typical in businesses that offer points for spending but wish to offer a special offer discount when entering a business location and checking-in on the app for the daily deal.
  • Bonus Point Multiplier - A common setting to use if issuing random double or triple-point Check-Ins points. For instance, every 4th Check-Ins or randomly issue as a prize. To learn more, visit the tooltip on the Message & Send Order dropdown above.

To establish a Progressive Point system, you should include several check-in messages that award members additional points for each check-in. If members are allowed to check in every 60 minutes, they will have a 120-minute window for the next check-in to be considered progressive. For example, in the first check-in message, you could award 1 point for the initial check-in. In the subsequent message, you might award 1.5 points, and in the third message, you would give 2 points. You can continue to increase the points for each following check-in. If there are only three messages available and a member continues to check in, they will receive the points from the last message in the sequence (the third one).

Mobile Progressive Check-Ins

Mobile Progressive Check-Ins are configured in a way similar to Tablet Progressive Check-Ins. The key difference is that you now have the option to choose how to notify the member. You can select either a push notification or a pop-up message on the mobile app. Once you have completed the setup process, fill out any additional required forms, and then click "Save."
