Introduction
In this article, we will discuss the Instant Win settings. The instant win settings can be found in the Tools and Settings icon > Games tab > Instant Winner sub-tab.
The Instant Winner game allows members to check-in to a location on the Tablet Application or the program Mobile App, if set up, to receive an instant prize when checking into the program. The following is very similar to the Gamification games; however, instead of displaying a game to play when checking in, they are immediately rewarded.
Instant Win Grid
After clicking on the Instant Winner subtab, you may notice an Instant Win setting already created. On the left side, you'll notice checkboxes allowing you to delete the selected items, and on the right side, you'll see an action column to delete, an edit icon, and a toggle to turn the Instant Win setting on or off. You can also edit the Instant Win settings by clicking on the name. You can also click the New Record button to create a new Instant Win setting.
Tracking Configuration subtab
When creating a new Instant Win, under the Tracking Configuration subtab, the first step is to choose the type of tracking. Choose to run the Instant Win Member-Wise & Location Wise, Member-Wise, Location-Wise, or Reward Program-Wise.
- If creating a Member-Wise & Location Wise Instant Win, the Instant Win behaves like a reward point goal program. Each member's points are tracked individually at the location. Wins are issued based on a predefined number of check-ins. For instance, if 10 check-ins equal a prize, every 10 check-ins at a specific location issue the prize. It is important to note, if 5 check-ins are at location A, and 5 check-ins are at location B, then location A requires 5 more check-ins before issuing a prize, and location B requires 5 more check-ins before issuing a prize.
- If creating a Member-Wise Instant Win, the Instant Win behaves like a reward point goal program. Each member's points are tracked individually, and Wins are issued based on a predefined number of check-ins. For instance, if every 10 check-ins issue a predefined prize, it does not matter which location the check-ins occur as the points are tracked member-wise.
- If points are tracked Location-Wise, the Instant Win issues Wins based on check-ins at the location. For instance, if predefined rules issue Wins every 10 check-ins at the location, every 10 check-ins will issue a Win regardless of the members total check-ins.
- If the Instant Win is tracked Reward Program-Wise, location tracking, and member tracking is not considered. If predefined rules issue a prize every 25 check-ins, it does not matter which location or which member makes the 25th spin, the member who made the spin will Win the prize.
NOTE:
- Track Points Member Wise - The setting tracks points at the member level, i.e., if a prize is issued at 10 visits, the member can visit any location & once the member reaches 10 visits, the prize is issued.
- Track Points Location-Wise - The setting tracks points at the location level, i.e., if a prize is issued at 10 visits, any member can visit the location & on the 10th visit, the prize is issued.
- Track Points Program-Wise - The setting tracks points at the program level, i.e., if a prize is issued at 10 visits, any member can visit any location & on the 10th visit, across all locations, the prize is issued.
You can choose to give the instant win an internal title name. You can also choose to sync tablets and phones or only allow phones or tablets.
Winner Settings subtab
Under the Winner Settings subtab, you can choose to issue one through five prizes. Each follows the same configuration. You can choose how many check-ins are required to issue a prize; in this example, we'll select 25 check-ins. You can control how many winners you like to have every hour, and you can choose to issue points, an offer, or both. If issuing an offer or both points and an offer, you will see the "attach offer" button at the bottom.
- Prize Offers - Select how many prizes you would like to offer. If multiple prizes occur at the same time, only one reward is issued. The order of priority is Prize 1, 2, 3, 4
You can choose the pop-up settings, which is the text to display to the winning member. You can also choose what type of background image or video you would like to display.
Location, Phone & Notification Settings subtab
On the Location, Phone, and Notification Settings, for each tablet we'd like to participate in the program, we can select here and the same for each phone. As you can see, we do not have any phone for the program. We can also receive Email and SMS notifications for each winner by choosing the options here.
NOTE:
- Location Email - If location is checked, the emails) in the box will be overwritten with the location email found in My Account - > Account Settings- Location Settings.
- Location Mobile - If location is checked, the mobile number(s) in the box will be overwritten with the location mobile number found in My Account-> Account Settings- Location Settings
